Tesoro Homes for Sale Port St. Lucie, Florida

Private gated golf and country club community with custom single-family estates and two signature courses.

About Tesoro

Tesoro Club is a private, gated golf and country club community in western Port St. Lucie, built around championship golf, a Palm Beach–inspired clubhouse, and a mix of custom estates, semi-custom homes and newer builder product. It is one of the few addresses on the Treasure Coast where a buyer can get a true club lifestyle at a fraction of what the equivalent costs in Palm Beach or Martin County — which is most of the reason people move here from further south.

Homes back onto the golf courses, freshwater lakes or preserved wetland, and the community continues to add new construction alongside its resale inventory. Toll Brothers and GHO Homes have both built here, so it is common to find a 20-year-old custom estate and a brand-new build on the market at the same time — at very different prices per square foot.

What you get in Tesoro

Two signature courses

An Arnold Palmer signature course, opened in 2005, and a Tom Watson signature course. The club closed in 2021 and has been rebuilding since; the Palmer course is back in play and the Watson course has been under renovation — worth confirming current status before you buy.

The clubhouse

A Palm Beach–inspired clubhouse with fine dining, social calendar and member events.

Sports & fitness

Fitness center, clay tennis courts and pickleball.

Resort amenities

Resort-style pool, spa and salon, and walking and nature trails through the preserve.

Gated and staffed

Private, gated entry with security — a genuine consideration for seasonal owners who leave homes empty.

New construction

Builder product still coming online alongside resales, so there is choice between move-in-ready and personalised.

Who Tesoro suits

Golfers, obviously — but the buyers who get the most out of it tend to be people who want the club to be the centre of their social life, not just a course they play. It also works well for seasonal owners: gated, staffed, and low-maintenance enough to lock up and leave. Buyers who want walkable shops and restaurants outside the gate are usually happier in Tradition; buyers who want the amenities without the club commitment often land in PGA Verano.

Worth asking about before you write an offer: club membership structure and dues, which are separate from HOA, and whether a given home carries a mandatory membership. We can pull that on any listing before you commit.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers ask us most about Tesoro. Figures come from the live MLS feed and move with the market.

How much do homes cost in Tesoro?

Across the 39 Tesoro homes active in the MLS today the median asking price is $1,010,000, with a range of $399,900 to $2,695,000 and a median of $374 per square foot. That range covers everything from smaller residences to custom estates. These are asking prices, not closed sales — ask us for a free market analysis if you want to know what has actually sold.

How many homes are for sale in Tesoro right now?

39 as of today. The count at the top of this page comes from our BeachesMLS feed and refreshes every 10 minutes, so it reflects the market as it stands rather than a figure typed in once.

What are the HOA fees in Tesoro?

All 39 active listings report an association fee, ranging from about $160 to $2,103. The spread is large because fees are billed at different frequencies and cover different things depending on the section of the community. Club membership is separate from HOA — that distinction catches buyers out more than anything else here, so confirm both on any home before you write an offer.

What size are the homes and when were they built?

Homes on the market run from about 1,494 to 4,613 square feet, with 2 to 5 bedrooms, and were built between 2004 and 2026. Tesoro still has new construction coming online alongside its resales, so it is common to see a twenty-year-old custom estate and a brand-new build listed at the same time.

Is Tesoro a golf community?

Yes. Tesoro Club has two signature courses — an Arnold Palmer course, opened in 2005, and a Tom Watson course. Worth knowing before you buy: the club closed in 2021 and has been rebuilding since. The Palmer course is back in play; the Watson course has been under renovation. Membership structure and dues also sit outside the HOA. We can confirm the current course and membership position on any home before you write an offer — it is the detail that catches buyers here out most often.

How long do homes take to sell in Tesoro?

The homes currently listed have been on the market a median of about 117 days. At this price point longer marketing times are normal, and it usually means there is room to negotiate rather than that demand is weak.

How does Tesoro compare to PGA Village or PGA Verano?

PGA Village is the value option for golfers, with a median around $599,000 and three championship courses. PGA Verano is guard-gated, all ages, and weighted toward newer construction and resort amenities. Tesoro is the highest-priced of the three and the most club-centred.
